Basket Making
Basket- making Products are components made from willow rods which are specifically for making baskets and other craft items used for weaving willow items. Strobe Willows supplies dried willow rods from 2 to 6 feet long in 10 varieties, all with the bark intact. Other items include dried shaped forms for use as ribs and handles in basket-making.
There are no baskets currently available, only craft items.

Willow Weaving Rods
$12.00 "+ GST"Dried (brown) willow weaving rods with their bark left on are prepared by the purchaser for use in making woven baskets, decorative household and garden items as well as sculptures and furniture. The dry rods need to be re-hydrated in a water bath, trough, stream or pond for approximately 1 day for every foot of length. Brown willow weaving rods are sold by Willow variety, then by length required – between 3 to 6 feet long – and then in bundles by weight (measured in 1 pound increments).
