These are all ‘brown’ willow – dried rods with the bark left intact ‘Brown’ is a technical weaving term. Regardless of the actual colour of the bark, which can vary from very pale, through many colours to almost black, the rods are called brown.

Willow Daisy Flower
$15.00 "+ GST"This Willow Daisy flower comes in 3 sizes – 8 Inch diameter, 10 inch and 12 inch with rounded even petals like a daisy. Woven mostly from Salix Purpurea ‘Green Edna’ rods which should dry light green and beige. This very pretty ornamental is supplied with a 15 to 18 inch ‘stem’ in a contrasting colour willow.

Willow Fish
$10.00 "+ GST"Woven from several varieties of willow, this 10″ decorative fish can serve as a kitchen trivet on the counter top or as a wall decoration anywhere in your home. The willow fish is available in 3 widths – Slim, Medium and Wide – to support smaller to large cooking saucepans and fry pans. As with most willow crafts, each fish has been woven as a unique item, with no 2 fish being the same. Colours may vary according to the variety of basket willow used.

Woven Willow Bird Table

Hanging from a branch in the garden or on the patio, this tray will hold a few apples or a string of peanuts to attract garden birds. Used in the kitchen, the table can serve as a herb drying tray.

Each tree is unique in the colour combinations woven into the figure with bark from different varieties depending on the time of harvesting of the rods. So your woven tree will be a one off gem.

Willow Angel
$20.00 "+ GST"This woven willow angel has wings made of 8 curved willow rod tips and a woven basketry base. Designed to be free- standing on any table, the woven willow angel figure can also be used as a Christmas Tree topper since the 4- inch wide base is hollow. Of course, it can also be hung with string anywhere, since the weight, as with most willow decorations, is very light. Custom orders for different coloured willows in your Angel can be requested provided enough notice is given.

Decorative Willow Rods
$15.00 "+ GST"A bundle of 12 Decorative Willow rods grown from Curly Willow, 2 to 4′ long, purely for decorative display. These rods are not suitable for growing new plants from, since the drying process makes this impractical. The product is presented with the bark intact, dried and un-painted. You can adapt the light brown finish as needed for your own interior decor needs by painting or varnishing the rods after purchase, though obviously this is much easier to do with a spray product than a brush.

Willow Daffodil Flower

It can be hung as a pretty wall decoration or placed in a vase for a table centrepiece. With the stem removed, the daffodil bell can act as a stunning rustic candle holder. Woven from Salix Purpurea basket willows and made on Strobe Farm in the Alberni Valley, the willow daffodil flower is a unique new craft decoration designed in 2024.
