The Around The Home category provides information on items woven from willow on Strobe Farm from our own willow plants.

These are all ‘brown’ willow – dried rods with the bark left intact ‘Brown’ is a technical weaving term. Regardless of the actual colour of the bark, which can vary from very pale, through many colours to almost black, the rods are called brown.
